What Can I Say?

DSCF2409

Is there anything more pitiful than a cat chasing it’s own tail?

Ginger has done this on more than one occasion.  I think it usually happens when it’s cold and wet outside and she doesn’t go out to hunt.  So the only thing left to do is “hunt” her tail.  Still, I always thought cats had more dignity than this.

UPDATE

Here is Ginger’s response

What can I say
You caught me this way

I am so bored
I think I’m losing my gourd

It’s been raining non stop
Can’t go out to take a plop

There’s nothing else to chase
Mice aren’t allowed in this place

So what can I say
You caught me this way

    Cute.
Poor bored kitty. :-/ Does Ginger destroy all her toy mice like my cats do?

    • Her mice are, or were, real, and sometimes they will still be half alive in which case she lets them loose to chase them in the cabin (and lose them) and sometimes they are dead in which case she eats them next to my side of the bed. Sometimes she eats all of them sometimes she leaves some for me to clean up. Is that TMI?

Please let me know what you think
