Weekly Photo Challenge – Beginning

Cheri at The Daily Post said:

Beginning. Hello, 2014. And hello and happy new year to our readers, old and new. This week’s theme might be obvious, but I couldn’t help it — it’s a simple and common word, yet can evoke very powerful, emotional images.

For some reason this seems a little harder than it appears.  My mind immediately went to Spring, but I haven’t been taking photographs that long.  I’m still a newbie with a camera.  But I was able to find something that captured the artistic essence of ‘Beginning’.

A thunderhead building is the beginning of an approaching storm.  This day last fall saw many angry clouds forming.  The resulting rain event was quite spectacular.
