Whatever the original intent of this blog was suppose to be it seems to have morphed into something completely different. In the beginning I was planning on using it as a platform to vent my frustrations over the many and varied issues surrounding me and the world. But as I became more familiar with the blogging process, the community, and the vast array of content, something seemed to change. Instead of frustration, I was overcome with creativity. I don’t know where this will all lead, but for now I am truly enjoying this outlet for the creative process. Of course, if something does pop up that really gets my need to to grind a heel, I will hopefully rise to the occasion.

I have no problem pointing out the hypocrisies in people. I have no problem accepting my own hypocrisies. I am an equal opportunity bitch.
You will not like me. I will take everything you believe in, everything you hold dear, and I will grind it under my very well heeled boot. There is nothing sacred that I will not eviscerate. There is no subject that I will not have an opinion on. If you are afraid of losing your beliefs, your status; if you cannot question those things that you take for granted in your everyday life, then be warned; GO NO FURTHER.
Hi there, I have nominated your blog for the Liebster Award. I hope it doesn’t go against the very morals of your blog…http://jaydeashe.wordpress.com/2013/05/18/beaucoup-good-shit-too-beaucoup/
I like your style!
Sounds great with me…!
AnElephantCant be grinded
Under a boot no matter how nice the heels
He is not much of a speller
But he’s an easy going fellow
Who just wants you to know how he feels
Cool blog
For what it’s worth my blog was intended to be something different also. The more I blog the more I enjoy having ‘conversations’ with friends half way around the world.
Yes, that’s what I found out. And telling stories, sharing pictures. Thank you so much for stopping by! 🙂
I love that your blog has taken a turn towards the creative! I guess it’s true that, once you start writing, you never know what can happen…
Thank you Sharon. And thank you for stopping by!
Thanks for the like on my little blog.

I enjoyed the ‘Fork’ in the road and the Alice quote.
That’s the nature of creativity – if we allow the thinking mind to relax, it will take over and lead us down paths our right minds never knew existed 🙂
If someone believes in nothing then you can not destroy their beliefs although, perhaps believing in nothing is a kind of stance/belief in itself!
I actually want to comment on your wonderful post about Poncho’s building the cabin … My husband built us a house on an island, and I covered its construction in photos, just as you did. I believe we derived the same degree of enormous pride from our partners’ efforts, too. 🙂 Tell me, why can’t we comment on that? – is it a Page? You can still enable Comments. But I’m being nosey: this is your site, and a bloody good one it is!
I’m glad you enjoyed the blow by blow of our building experience. Some day I’ll finish that page. It’s been very interesting and educational living in such a small but well built space. Thank you so much for stopping by and looking around.
Hi Princess,
Wow, it was a blast from the past popping by here and seeing the nomination I gave you back in May! How far we have both come since then 🙂
I just wanted to say a huge THANKYOU for your ongoing support of The Paperbook Collective. It is always exciting seeing what you come up with each month, and your piece on Chimayo was truly magnificent. I hope you have a wonderful festive season, and I look forward to publishing more of your work in 2014.
Cheers,
Jayde.
It really is amazing how far we have come in our blogging in such a short time. The inspiration that comes from so many people in so many places is quite astounding and humbling. Where I originally thought this blog was going to go is a far cry from what it has blossomed into. Thanks so much for introducing yourself back in May. This has been a wonderful ride so far and I have no intention of getting off! 😀
I went to dinner yesterday at the Bowman Homestead and Mom handed me a file of paperwork to read, the first being a poem written under a picture of a young man I immediately knew as my beloved Grand Father. After reading it and regaining my composure it dawned un me that the author was my beautiful Aunt. I am so proud of you for doing this and for finding an avenue to share the creativity that has been broiling inside of you for as long as I can remember. I agree with what Mom said, “I know her now better than I have have as she reveals herself to us in her musings.” I Love You Princess Oso, Craig Dean
Aww shucks C. D., you bring a tear to my eye too. I’m so thrilled you are enjoying my musings and ramblings. But be careful, wander around in this noggin too long and you might get lost – take it from me, I’m still trying to find the exit. But seriously, it means so much that you and your mom are reading my works. I’m grateful that I found an avenue to express all the crazy, sometimes poignant stories that fill my head. If you haven’t read already, I suggest for you Dusk Approaches, Breakfast, Fire Woman, and Chefs Do That. I think you’ll like them. Hugs and Kisses, Princess

Hi there. I’ve seen your link from others that I follow, but today was from DJMatticus. I finally decided to click on the link and see what all the inspiration was about. And I was duly impressed so I decided to follow.
Good good, DJ has spread the word 😀
